    L1B to H1B status

    Hi,

    I am in L1B visa with I94 valid till 2016. My employer applied for a new H1B visa in April 2014. It was approved and is effective 10/1/2014. I received the I797 with a new I94.

    - Am I in H1B Visa right now? Do I have to do anything else for it to be effective?
    - Is there anyway to check my current visa?
