H1B visa Transfer query

Hi,
Having H1B valid till 2 years from now, travelled once to US and returned back to India. Got another sponsor and H1B transfer is approved. Not switched to new company still. But my current company is asking me to travel to US now. My question is, Can I travel for my current company with my old petition and relieve after a week and join to the new company?. Need some advice to proceed in this. Thanks in advance.

Was the original petition filed by current employer? Is the location of end client same?
