Hi All,
I need to appear for my H1-B visa "stamping" interview in the last week of December. I have a few questions and would appreciate any help in these matters.
1. I came here on a student visa. Currently I hold two I-94s (i) I-94, from my entry into US on student visa and (ii) I-94, I got attached in the I-797. Do both of these need to be submitted when I leave the country or just one?
2. When I go back home, do I need to get my OPT I-20 signed from the foreign student advisor of the school I attended here? The reason I ask this is, though my current status is H1-B, my OPT ends in June 06.
3. Did any of you file a form I-824? This form is referenced on the I-797 and it says, "The petitioner may also file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, with this office to request that we may notify a consulate, port of entry, or pre-flight inspection office of this approval." I am not sure, if I need to do this or not?
Any help in this matter will be truly appreciated.
Thanks.
