Change of Status from H1 to L2 and again retaining H1 later
Hi,
I am holding L1 and my wife is holding H1. Can my wife change the status to L2 from H1 for some period of time without cancellation of existing H1 ?
As my wife wants to take of my kid for some time and then she wants to retain back the H1 later.
If above point is possible, I have one more question regarding the H1 validity.
Her H1 is valid till April 2015 and we need to go with an extension after that.
If we immediately change the status to L2 then can we retain the H1 after it get expired. Or do you suggest to extend H1 first and then change the status.
