H1B with pending petition over 21 petition by American citizen

Hi All,

I'm H1B be right now and I have pending petition with my Dad who is now naturalized american. I'm not sure but I think it will take 3 years more to received the immigrant status from my Dad. I'm just wondering if I can expedite that process since I'm already here. In short I want to change my status to immigrant as soon I can.
Anyone encounter the same thing?
Please advise.
