Duration between H-1B ammendment and new h-1 transfer??

I change my job role recently and my lawyer is suggesting to file H-1B ammendment application. But I am looking for other op****ities outside too, which means if i get a new job i have to apply for H-1B transfer to new company.

If I start H-1B ammendment application and then get a new job and start H-1B transfer, will there be a problem? I am not sure how much will be the duration between h-1 ammendment and transfer, it might overlap or just happen with a month's gap.

What do you suggest i should do?

1. Do H-1B ammendment on priority (15 days) and then start new h-1 transfer whenever I get a new job (within 1-2 month of ammendment)?

2. Just process my h-1b ammendment through regular application and if I get a new job just start the H-1B extension (may or may not overlap with ammendment application)? Is this a possible option?

3. Stop/put a hold on H-1B ammendment process and just go for h-1B transfer asap?


Can you please suggest what is the best option in my case?

Are there any rules on what should be the minimum time duration between any H-1B ammendment application and h-1B transfer application for new employer?
