Hi All,
I work for company A. My h1b expires on 10/21/2014. i-94 expires on 11/1. Extension decision pending, applied two months back.In the meantime company B is offering a job and willing to transfer my h1b. Company A booked my ticket to India on 11/1 since I have to work from there for about a month at India branch. I cannot avoid the India trip and I have to travel on 11/1/2014.
In this scenario, here are my questions:
1. What is the impact on h1b transfer?
2. When should I quit in company A?
3. Assuming I get the transfer approved when I was in India, How difficult or easy is the stamping with Company B's visa in India?
