US job Search with H1B stamped visa while in India

Hi All,

I am currently holding a valid H1b visa which has also been stamped till Sep 2016. My question is can I search for a job in the US while I am still in India?
Does anybody have any experience with this situation?

Yes you can, many do so. If you have the right skill set am sure employers would be interested, as H1 visa holders seem to be in huge shortage of late, and you are amongst the lucky ones who got it.
