New I-94 on returning from Bahamas Cruise

I am on H1-B Visa. My Visa is valid till Feb 2015 and i have a valid stamping on my Passport.
My H1 extension has been filed and is in progress.

Will i get a new I-94 on my return from the Bahamas Cruise? If i get a new I-94, my extension filing might be impacted.
Anyone traveled under the same circumstance? Please advice.

Did you mean Feb 2015? Though I doubt one gets a new I-94 upon Bahamas visit, but as a cautionary approach avoid border areas while extension is in progress.
