Driving in Michigan on Indian license after 2 years of landing in US

Hello,

I came to Michigan, US on H1 about 2 years ago. My petition and i94 are about to expire in next 2 months. Extension of my i94 and petition is already in progress.

My driver's license is valid till my i94 expiry date.

1. If I do not get new/approved petition before my existing i94 expiry date, will I be able to drive on expired Michigan license until I get new i94?

2. I have Indian driver's license. Can I drive in Michigan on Indian license after 2 years of coming here?
