HI ,
My name is Prashanth. My H1B petition for 2014 CAP was approved. but when I saw the I-797B receipt there was a slight mistake in my First name(Mentioned as Prashant instead of Prashanth, missing 'h' :-( ). when I noticed the I-129 form the same mistake was done there. My visa is not yet stamped.
So I have below queries
1) Do I need to go for the Amendment process
2) How long will it take for the Amendment to be done
My Employer suggested me to go for Amendment. I am not getting the correct response from my Immigration team.its been almost 2 months I am following up with the team. So can any anybody suggest me what is the exact process for this and what all documents required for this process?
