  • H1b Approved after Denial (Appeal upheld) - Stamping issue?

    Hi,

The limited characters in the title did not not allow me to put my question properly.

I completed my Masters from a top university in US and I started working for a startup immediately after I graduated. They petitioned for my H1B which was picked in lottery, given RFE (completely corporate issue) and was denied (in spite of evidence that was provided). After the denial, the company appealed the decision and the appeal was upheld. I have been granted Visa for a limited period (less than 2 yrs) The problem was probably the fact that I am a 'client engineer' at the company. My company is a start up doing really well and I work with multiple clients for successful implementation of our product. The word client might have led the DHS to be suspicious that it could be a consultancy.

Looking at the above sequence of events and knowing that consulates are completely separate entities, making their own decisions, will I face the same problems during H1b stamping that my company faced with my petition? Does this increase my chances of getting rejected at the consulate? How can I be best prepared for this?

    Thanks
