Hi,
My H1B was approved and validity was stamped for 3 years i.e. Aug 2011. I worked in US from Dec 2008 to July 2010 post which I shifted my job in India and did not apply for H1B transfer. Now I am searching for employers who can sponsor my H1B again.
The question is, do I need to undergo the lottery process again? Am I still eligible for H1B petition transfer? What should I be stating as my H1B status to prospective employers? Is it H1B transfer or H1B sponsorship from scratch?
Please help.
