change in passport credentials

hiii

I currently reside in US on an H4 visa. I would like to apply for a new passport, as my date of birth on my birth certificate and passport differ. I would like to get a new passport with my correct DOB. So, will it affect my visa. Also, I would like to know whether this change affect my I94 and I797. Do I have to update them too along with my passport? If so, what is the procedure for that?
