H1B Approval Notice help

Hi,

My H1 was filed way back in 08 and the case was approved on August 28-08.
After that my Sponsor did not respond with further details.
Can anyone point me in a general direction as to if there is any hope that I can get the same H1 approved petition further and get stamping on that.

Hello, Dev.

My understanding is that one can revive an H1 petition for upto 6 years. As your petition is more than 6 years old, i do not think you will be able to use the old H1B.

Personal opinion. You might want to research some more and help us if you find information different from what i have mentioned.

Hi Nattybone,

Thanks for the reply. I had the same apprehension regarding the old petition.
My issue was amplified because of no response from my sponsor.
This has been the main reason for my case being dragged so long.
Thanks again for the help..will keep you posted if there is any other development.
