H1b travel- Do we need POE letter?

Hello,
I am travelling on H1 end of this month. I do have every original company documents with me. The thing is I have heard we need a Port of entry letter from the company when we arrive at airport. I asked my company, they said no need of it and they refuse to give me. Is it really needed?
Please let me know asap.

I havent heard of such a letter, can you elaborate as to what typically would you expect the contents to be or any official link mentioning the same.
