Need Help to track receipt number from DS160 confirmation number

Hello,

My H1B Visa was applied in sep 2011 and I received the approved petition but it was with my previous employer not handed to me. And also I went for H1B stamping but unfortunately I received form 221g (yellow slip). After that I left the previous employer and they canceled my approved petition.But I find out that, it was not canceled approved petition doesn't get cancel and it can be transfer to other employer with cap exempt.But new employer is asking me about from I-797 and receipt no. since I had submitted that everything to my previous employer so I don't have these details.I only have form DS160 copy and confirmation no.
Can I get copy of from I-797 and receipt no through DS160 visa interview confirmation no.?

You must have taken the I797 with you during the visa interview. Did you not keep a copy with you? You also did not keep a copy of the DS160 which has the receipt number?
