H1B Stamping at Mexico.

Hi,

I am going for my H1B Stamping (F1 to H1) to Matamors mexico on Dec 13.I have a question and I am wondering whether anybody can clarify me on that.
I applied for my H1B on FEB 3 2003 as opt( Practical training) will be expiring on FEB 20 of 2003 and and I got the receipt and the LIN/SRC Number from INS on feB 5 2003, although my H1B got approved on Jun 20,2003.
I was told that since I got the receipt I am in status till I get my H1B as my case was pending with INS.
So I am wondering whether this will be any problem when I go to stamping as I am waiting for my H1B till jun 20,2003 from feb 20,2003 before I started working. Am I officially in status in the period between feb 20,2003- jun 20,2003?

I am going next week to mexico. So I want to make sure that everything is o.k before going to stamping
