i94 query

I have the following question. My passport expires in Sep 2015. My H1 extension has been approved till Jan 2016. I just visited India last month, and returned to USA - my i94 arrival date was stamped with date as Sep 2015. If i get my passport renewed, will i be able to stay till Jan 2016? Any suggestions please? Thank you in advance.

No you cannot unless you do one of the three options below succesfully:

Three options:
1. Go to nearest CBP office and ask if they will extend your I-94.
2. File form I539 to extend the I-94.
3. Leave US and re enter.
