H1b transfer while in 221g status

Hi all,


I have received 221g slip as I didn't have client letter. I have been asked to submit this doc. I am thinking now if I can get transfer or not. I am right now in India so is it possible to get transfer. My current petitioner said that it will provide but I am not sure.

A 221G is a soft dismissal, so yes unless USCIS revokes the petition, another employer should be able to file a cap exempt petition.

Thanks raghvi. So I need to withdraw my existing application and have to again fill new dos 160 and schedule appointment. Am I right?
