H1B revival Regarding

Hello all, any one please help with my below question,
I had Approved H1B Visa from 01st Oct2007 till 30Sep2010, but I did not travel to the US on H1B status ( but travlled several times on B1/B2 Visa), since it's more than 6 years from the Visa validity date.. if I apply for the revival should I get the Quota exeption or do I need to go through under the Quota again, please suggest

My H1b was approved in 2007. I never travelled to US on H1. Now, in 2015 if I apply for H1B wiull it come under teh CAP exempt?

Your petition was applied more than 6 Years back hence it is no longer valid as it was never used. I believe you will have to apply a frresh.
