Renewal for damaged H1B visa

Hi all, I am currently employed in the US on a valid H1B visa with 6 months to expire. I recently damaged my passport and visa and will betraveling to india in 2 days where I hope to get my new passport stamped. I have been asked to bring evidence of approved I129. All I have is the original I797B. Is this what they are looking for?

All I have is the original I797B. Is this what they are looking for?

I797B is generally acceptable, but your employer should be able to give you a copy of the I129 and LCA, just in case.
