Hi,
I and my wife are going to India on vacation on January 1,2015. Both me and my wife are eligible for the Interview waiver dropbox program as I have extended my H-1B visa in the same company I am working for and both my H-1B and my wife's H-4 visa are valid until 11/11/2015.The issue is that while submitting her DS-160, my wife forgot to mention the U.S Taxpayer ID number which is ITIN number in her case. We have already paid the $190 visa application fee based on her submited DS-160 which doesn't have the U.S taxpayer ID as mentioned above. Will U.S consulate in Mumbai consider this an issue and instead ask us to appear in-person via any query? What are my options now? We are planning to submit our application in our hometown which has a Team Stanley location for dropbox on 1/5/2015.
