Need help : H1B VISA Stamping for the petition ends on August 2015

Dear Guys -

Currently I am in USA and working in Client location for a Desi Consultantancy starting from August 2014 and having valid I-797 till August 2015. Previously I was in TCS and switched to contract mode on August 2014.

I am planning to go for vacation to India and get H1B VISA Stamping on Jan 27th and Jan 28th 2015.and I have all the documents
I797, Client Letter, Vendor Letter, Employee Offer Letter, payslip, W2 and LCA.

Can you please guide me whether it would be a good move to go for a stamping now or after August 2015 extension?.

What is your visa validity date in the passport? If it is valid until Aug 2015, You dont have to go for a visa stamping and can enter into the country with existing valid visa (Yes, though it has old company name on it) with newly approved I 797.

No, VISA has been expired on 31-Dec-2013 and I am in I-94 Extension.
