Can I have L2 and H1 visa same time?

I have Company A H1 visa stamped on my passport. To join my spouse, working in US, his company B is processed my L2 Visa.

I want to know whether the H1 will get cancelled when i get this L2 stamped...

Anjali,

Yes, your H1 will get cancelled once your L2 is approved. "Cancelled without prejudice" will be stamped on your H1 sheet in the passport. As per my knowledge, one cannot hold more than one category visa at a single point of time.

Thats what I believe too, not more than one visa........
