Hi,
We'll be doing the registered marriage a week before the social marriage and then my wife will go for the H4 visa interview. I have the following questions regarding the date of marriage:
1. Is it ok to do the registered marriage before the social marriage as far as H4 visa is concerned?
2. When the VO asks her "what is your marriage date?", what should be the answer? -- Is it the date on which the registered marriage happened or the date of social marriage? The wedding invitation card will have the social marriage date, whereas the marriage certificate will contain the registered marriage date. Will this not be an inconsistency?
Please reply ASAP as we'll be going for our registered marriage and the interview very soon.
