H1 to H4

Hello,

Right now I'm on H1b working for a company. If I take break and go on H4 for 6 months to 1 year and then if I want to come back on H1 b again, can I use my previous H1b to just transfer or do I have to go trough complete lottery system and wait for April and start working from October

U have not given your current H1 details. Any H1 is valid for 6 years and can be utilized the left out period when u r not on H1/L1.

You can use your H1b visa to come back for USA....
