Steps to do on H4 approvd petition after name change in Indian passport -while in USA
Hi, Here is the situation where I need your guidance.
I'm in USA with H4 dependent visa. I have the approved H4 petition valid for next two years, whereas my H4 Visa stamp is expired. I'm planning to change my name from Maiden to Married in the Indian passport.
Question-1: What should I do on the approved H4 petition - Is there any process to change the name on petition (or) Should I leave the old name (maiden) on the approved petition as it is?
Question-2: I'm planning to go India next year only. While leaving from USA, the name on I-94 approved petition will differ from the latest Indian passport. How to handle this?
