How the 6 yrs quota of H1B is calculated?
Hi,
I have one question on my remaining period to stay on H1B in US(If GC is not started). How the 6 years be calculated. I stayed here for 11 months on L1b and went back to India and stayed in india for 1 yr and 2 months after that i came back and stayed on L1b for 20 months and changed to H1(completed 21 months till date). How many left for me to stay here on H1B. is first 11 months stay be void because i have gap of more than 1yr. Few are saying first 11 months will not be calcuated some are saying it will. can someone please clarify.
11 Months on L1B Visa
15 months in India (Gap of 1 Yr 2 months)
20 months on L1B Visa
21 months on H1B visa (till date)
