Hi All
I am currently on L1A and will complete 5 years in L1 in July-2015. I am planning to apply for H1 in this year's quota. Is it advisable to do that as I will be completing 6 years in US in July-2016. I will only be able to work from Oct-2015 on H1B (if selected in lottery) and that gives me around 9-10 months until July-2016. So, when should I start applying for Labor (PERM) ? From Oct-2015 or July-2015 ? I heard there is some 365 day PERM filing clause as well.
Can someone please advise as to what I or my H1 prospective employer could do in my case here ?
