L1B to H1B change of status without visiting native country.

Hi,

I have been working in US for past 18 months for xyz company, I also got H1B petition approved in 2012 CAP through XYZ company. I am currently in US status is L1 and I have approved petition without COS. Am I eligible to transfer my H1B to new employer without going to Native country for stamping before joining the new company? Please advice. Thank you
