I am in US working on L1B working for an employer A and applied H1B through employer B in Apr-2013. The visa petition was approved but employer B forget to put the COS application whilst submitting the H1 petition so the H1B was approved as consular processing with no COS.
I couldn't join employer B and decided to put that on hold (continuing working on L1B).. Now thinking about joining employer B or trying to find if I would be able to transfer the H1B to different employer "say C" ? To join the employer B , they will have to amend the petition and reapply for COS but not sure if the consular approved H1B can be transferred to a different employer who can do the COS as well.
Please clarify.
