I have H1B visa stamped (in Sep'14) from company B (future employer,filed petition in April'14) which will expire in Nov'15.
And I had a word with my current employer A(after I decided to resign), and they say they might do H1 transfer to themselves(will confirm on coming Monday).
My question is : How much time it will take for a H1b transfer(a new cap exempt H1b petition) to be approved.
As per what I have read your inputs in this forum: Generally this happens mostly if a person is in USA
*It will take 1 month in PP
* it will take 4-6 months in regular processing
But I am not sure, if this is same for a person in India, and what is the probability of getting a RFE
Note: I am in India and never been to USA before.
