Hi,
I am currently on L1A visa and completing around 5.6 years by this month Feb 2015.
Can some one please let me know if I can file H1 visa this year (April 2015) in consular process?
As I will be completing 6 years by Oct 2015, If my new H1 visa gets approve, I will go out of USA for one year and will re-enter after one year with my new approved H1.
OR Do I need to go back to my home country first, wait for one year and then apply for new H1.
Please suggest and let me know if you need any more details.
