Hello friends,
Here is my situation. I was with employer A for 6 years from the date when i arrived to US first time. He filed my GC Application and i got my I-140 approved when i was in 4th year of H-1B. After working with employer A for 6 years i switched to employer B last year. Been working with employer B for over 1 year now. Because i had my I-140 approved i received 3 years of H-1B Extension based on AC-21 rule when i switched. I am in 7th year of my H-1B and employer B has filed my labor which is not approved yet and then subsequently he will file my I-140 (again).
Now meanwhile say e.g. i have to switch the job one more time and join say employer C. My question is will i get 3 years of new H-1B from the date of new petition filing? OR will i simply get H-1B valid until what employer B got it when i he filed my petition last year.
Any help/pointers appreciated.
