Hi,
I am currently on a H1B with stamping. I changed job location with some role and technology changes some time back. My Visa is valid till late September 2015. When I changed clients (My employer is still the same), I had a new LCA filed and approved.
I had to go to India in May'15 for 3 weeks. Should I file an amendment before travelling. My employer says we can file the amendment along with the renewal. But if I file renewal before I go to India, I will have to stamp my visa before coming back in June 15, isn't it? I wont have time to stamp during my travel this May. Will coming back to US without this amendment being filed will be an issue? I was thinking of coming back in June and then file my extension petition as I will have June, July, August and most of September for renewal processing.
My only concern is whether coming back to without an amendment approval on current H1B will cause issues?
