Applying H1b and B1 at the same time. Is that a risk?

Hi

My current employer is filing H1b for me this year. Also, they are filing a B1 visa for me so that I can attend some business meetings before I travel on H1b for hands on work.
Considering my B1 is approved, will this risk my chances of getting H1b approval?
Need advice ASAP.

I do not see any issues as long as B1 is strictly for business meeting and for very short durations.
