Yes it is possible to have two different visa category petitions approved. When you get selected in cap and approved, only H1 petition is approved not visa. For H1 visa you need to go to US consulate along with approved petition and other supporting documents. At that time if your H1 visa is approved they will cancel the existing L1 visa (if L1 visa is already stamped).
