H1 Interview guidence Pls

Hi friends,
I work (holding H1)for a good compay which is primarly (Devp&cons) based comp having big vendors and abt 120 employs and since my employer has a postion ,i refered my wife who works in India for a reputated MNC company from past 2 yrs and she has a total exp of abt 4 yrs+ with BE (cs) background,she is attending interview(H1B) this month along with the kid, will it matter if she tells abt my reference during interview at consulate(since i work for the same employer,)..,kindly suggest the good possible way to convience the officer in consulate,
