H4 stamping, if H1 rejected?

Hi

My H1 was approved in first week of Nov with a small software consulting company. I was on H4 before and F1 visa (already expired) is stamped on my passport. I have not yet started working on any project. I'm going to India in late dec and have apponitment for H1 stampnig in second week of Jan.

Apart from necassary documents for H1B, I'm taking Nov and Dec'05 Pay-stubs, Info Mgt Masters transcript, copy of company's incorporation letter and insurance, photos.

- What else documents should I keep, to make my case strong for stamping?
- More importantly, in case my H1B is rejected, can I stamp and come back on H4 visa.

Hello:

You may need company tax documents. If your H1 is rejected - When you apply for H4 your principal's documents should be intact.They may even ask you to produce documents showing your legal status when you were in the United States starting from F1 to H1.
