I have valid H1B visa till Sep-2015. Can my wife apply H4 now ? Since My H1B Visa has only 5 months of validity ?

Is that the date on your I797 too?

Is that the date on your I797 too?

Yes. My I797 validity also ends on 14-Sep-2015. But when I fill DS-160 , duration of stay I entered as 5 months, that is accepted. Will it be a problem in Consulate or in immigration ?
Once my spouse come over here, we should file extension together. Please throw some lights on this.
