Question regarding H1B petition

Thank you all for sharing your experience and suggestion in this forum. Currently I am working as a full time employee for company A and have a H1B with them for 2 more years. But I got a better offer from Company B, who has filed for fresh H1B in this year's quota. Now company A is processing my green card and I think working for company A will be a better option for my long term career. Can anyone please clarify below questions regarding my situation?

1) Since I am already a H1B employee, will company B new petition be considered duplicate petition?
2) Will result of company B's petition affect my current H1? Like deny or rfe of B's petition affect company A's approved petition?
3) If Company B's petition is also approved, which petiton will be effective after Oct 1st? A's or B's petition?
4) Can I have two approved H1 petition and still continue to work for Company A?
5) If Company B's petition is approved with an I-94? Which I-94 will be effective?
6) In case I plan not to join company B, how early can company B revoke their petition? Before lottery? After lottery before approval? After approval?

Any specific reason they applied in fresh cap when you are already cap counted?

4. Yes you can have two approved petitions but not two I-94. It B's petition comes with a new I-94 then you must work with them.
