H1 Extension Got Denied

Hi!,
My H1 extension got denied. The reason for denial is that my employer didn't run my payroll for 2 months when I was on bench. What would be my best option to get my H1 extended. Also what is the time duration that I can stay in US after the day of denial published by USCIS or is it something that counts from my day of visa expiry. Hope to hear from you all asap.

Even on bench the employer is supposed to pay you. With the denial you officially go out of status and if your I-94 has expired you should probably plan to leave US.
