Any port of entry issues if travel to US on valid H4 while H1 is filed for this year

Hi friends,

I am on H1 from oct 2014 and already working in US. My wife is still working in India and currently she is holding a valid H4 (till sep 2017). But her present employer filed H1 for her in regular cap for this year. At this moment, we still dont know whether her petition is picked yet in lottery.

Now she is planning to come to US on May 3rd .

My question is, is it still okay for her to travel with valid H4 if her petition status (lottery result) is known by that time or will she face any issue in port of entry to US ??

someone, kindly provide some insight into this.

Dont see any issues as long as you maintaining valid H1 status.
