Hi,
When I shipped my passport to Indian Consulate in USA, to get affidavite to apply my son's passport in India under tatkaal scheme, I lost the shipment. Now the shipping company called up saying that the shipment is lost.
1) What are the ways to get my duplicate (new) passport quickly?
2) My wife and my son has to appear before US Consulate in India for H4 stamping. Since there is no passport to my son, my understanding is that I cannot book an appointment for my wife and son in VFS service. If I apply for normal way for passport, it will take another 45 days and I have to fix an appointment in VFS. All this process will take longer time.
Please advise me on this.
