Hi All,
I am on a H1B, stamped and it expires on September 2015. I am travelling to India for a month in May. The whole May month. I am a consultant and my employer wont run the payroll in my absence here. Effectively my payroll wont be run for June 1st and June15 payroll.
I will have to start my visa extension once after I am back. Will the unavailability of June 1 and June15 paystubs affect my extension? My employer says your payroll need not be run as you are not in the United States. And that in any way wont affect your extension. They say I can still provide my last existing pay stubs and apply for extension.
Please let me know if this will cause any problems in extension. I cant cancel my India trip as I m getting married in May
