New I-797 amended document needed?? Urgent response needed pls!!

My employer is applying amendment with premium processing for my current client this week. But I'm planning to take a trip to india on 20th may.

I have consular appointment on 26th May, I will definitely have an approval/denial on the amendment by the time I leave US but not sure if the new i797 will be mailed to me by appointment date 26th, can I still go for stamping with my existing I-797 or do I need the new document for the appointment.

I would suggest you attend interview with the latest amended H1.
