Hi Veena, please help regarding 221(g) + TTS Drop Box

Hi Veena,
I went to chennai consulate for 1st time ..they given me the 221(g) by asking the project details..I went with the documents again..they said that marketing analysis document is wrong ...So I taken the updated marketing analysis documents again...They said that this is not what we asked....they are asking the documents with revenue details of the project ..... They asked me to drop the market analysis documents in the DropBox and he retained my H1B petitions (I797,I129 and all..) and all my project details documents and then returned back my passport and DD only....

I don't know why he retained all my H1B petitions..Is this will be a problem...???
My degree is bachelor of engineering in Information Technology.

If I drop the required documents,
How much time it will take to process ?
Whether I have to drop my passport with DD?
When I have to send my passport to them ?

Hi,
If they have not retained your passport and DD for visa issuance, they will get back to you after they verify the documents that you have put in the drop-box. I am not sure what they might want to check with respect to your application. Just wait patiently till they call you back. Maybe you can write to the NIV section of the consulate and request for an update.

Still I didn't dropped my documents....Whether I have to drop my passport with DD in the Drop Box...or only the documents they asked ?

Normally how much time it will take to process after the documents were dropped in the drop box. ?

Hi,
I am Vasanta. Mine also same case. They have taken all my H1 papers and just returned my passport and DD and told me to drop some documents in the drop box.

I have seen in the experieces that after dropping the documents in the drop box, it takes 2 weeks.

At the back side of the 221(g), they have asked us to drop ds-156, passport, DD and the required documents.

You should only drop the papers that were instructed to be dropped in the 221(g) refusal form that they gave you.

could u plz share the format of market analysis doc, if u have already?
i was asked for market analysis. my employer gave 15 pages market analysis doc for the product. but VO said it is not a market analysis doc.again asked me to put them in drop box. could u share some information.

Ask your employer to give the SWOT analysis and the ROI analysis for the product/project you are going to work...I also didn't receive the market analysis document from my employer...but the VO said to pu those documents in the drop box.....

yes VO retained my i797,129,lca, and the additional docs i submitted.
what is SWOT and ROI? can market analysis be a separate document? or be part of project letter?
i am much worried on this because, as drop box is the last chance, if this is not in correct format, my visa can be rejected. :-( ..loosing a year efforts and money.

ROI - Return On investment..

You need to submit
1. How the project is to be financed ?
2. SWOT Analysis and ROI Analysis
3. ROI of the product

Documents should be detailed....

During my wife 2 interview at chennai consulate for h4 visa revalidation, the officer asked for additional documents( Project Analysis doc's and Interior, Exterior End Client Pic's),DS 156,I797,I129,LCA,DD and asked to use the drop box (VFS). We Drop the docs at chennia , Amazing With in Two Business Days i got approval Visa from Consulate Amazing...

I hope that it will be help full information... for drop box process.

In your case they gave back ur H1B petitions...But for me they retained the H1B petitions ...Why ? Any specific reasons ?

My H1 papers also retained

Hi all

My case is also same...
Yesterday i attended the interview 2nd time...
VO asked me to drop the marketing analysis of the final product in the TTS Drop box before 30th january...

VO officer has taken all my H1-B petition papers ( I-129, Labour application, request letter from my employeer fro H1-B, my inhouse project design document... except my passport and DD)

as per your reply, it looks like VO has asked only market analysis for the product. has he accepted all other information for the internal project (the tech description/timeline/status/resources) ?

If so, can u share the documentation format for these info? like is it a xl sheet with each column for each of these info or just a letter that describes all these.

Because for me VO asked to submit all these information along with market analsysi.
