Hi,
I went to USA on F1 visa and then after graduation shifted to H1. I had a I-94 along with my petition I-797. When i left from USA in June2005(for other personal reasons but not for any visa status problem), I didnt submit the I-94 attached to the petition, but submitted my old I-94 which was on old F1 status. I was in the idea that I had to submit the whole I-797 along with the bottom attached I-94 for Visa Interview. Now i got my H1B visa stamped in India(home country) and am planning to come back to USA in Jan06 to continue my work(H1B).
It mentions in USA Gov. websites that I have to submit my I-94 along with supporting documents to ACS Inc.London Kentucky 40744. It also mentions that the procedure takes 4 months.
My question is:
Since i will be coming back to usa in jan06, should i wait for 4months till i get a reply from them and then enter?
or
can i sumbit the documents by post now and enter in jan06 and if asked at port of entry have all required documents to prove my case?
or
enter directly in jan06 and explain at the port of entry and submit my I-94 to them along with supporting documents?
