Can I apply for H1B visa transfer when my curent Visa Application is in Admin Process
Hi,
I have an approved H1B I-797B valid from Oct 24, 2014 to Oct 23, 2015.I appeared for the Visa stamping interview at US Consulate, Chennai, India on Dec 12th 2014. I received a 221g form stating that USCIS need to verify the credibility of the employer in USA. It has been almost 7 months so far. Still ceac website is showing "Administrative Processing". There is no callback from consulate. Can I transfer my H1B visa to a new employer without taking any action on my current visa application at chennai consulate. If any action is required what will be the action. Will be there any dependency with current visa application at chennai consulate.
